The idea for Corban Productions awoke in the heart of Patricia Martinez, follower of Jesus, proud wife, and mother to 4 amazing children, in the summer of 2020 amid the Coronavirus-COVID19 world pandemic. After reading the story of an operation carried out by US Marshals in Georgia, “Operation Not Forgotten,” where nearly 40 missing children at risk for child trafficking, abuse and exploitation, were rescued from the hands of their captors; God stirred a yearning in her heart to contribute to the efforts of those already working to end this abomination of a crime. Patricia decided that she would use the gifts and talents God had given her to contribute to this and other such causes.

Patricia discovered her passion and gift for music in her late 30s! Amidst a difficult battle with anxiety and trying to raise four small children away from family and friends, one fateful day while waiting in line at an amusement park to see "Moana" with her children, a strong desire captivated her heart and mind....the desire to buy a piano. Patricia had never taken piano classes before. That same day she found and purchased an old used piano on an online selling site, and started taking piano classes immediately thereafter. After 2 months of taking classes, suddenly one day she received the inspiration in her heart to compose a song for her oldest daughter, then 7 years old. Patricia has not stopped composing music and lyrics since then.

At first, the music she composed was to share with her family and friends. Patricia then started composing faith-based & worship music as she started to come to know Jesus during that time. Music provided a pathway to self expression and little by little she found healing and restoration.

While music and song are a beautiful way to worship God, to love God, and praise God; Patricia felt that this music that God was graciously giving her, needed to be shared with the world to produce a tangible blessing to those in need.

"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'" Matthew 25:40 NIV

Thus, Corban's mission is to partner with the top music & film producers, directors, and artistic talent in the industry to produce music videos and films that will create a positive impact in the world and provide funds that will be donated to non-profit organizations that are already actively and physically aiding people with various needs.
